Refugees continue to pass through Macedonia on their way to the European Union

Macedonian soldiers patrol between the fences on the border line between Greece and Macedonia near Gevgelija, The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, 07 February 2016. Police representatives of the countries of the Balkan corridor made an arrangement for the refugees that will transit the Balkan corridor. They will travel with a unified and standardized document which will be given to them on the Macedonian-Greek border. In the document will be written all the necessary information such as identity, age and country of origin but also biometric data – fingerprints. Refugees who don’t have valid documents can’t cross the border.
