Record Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher will continue his recovery at home from injuries suffered in a ski accident late last year, his management said 09 September 2014. In June, Schumacher, 45, was able to leave the French hospital where he had spent six months being treated for severe brain injuries. No longer in a coma, he continued rehabilitation at Lausanne University Hospital in Switzerland, around a 30-minute drive from Schumacher’s family home in the town of Gland on Lake Geneva. “Henceforth, Michael’s rehabilitation will take place at his home,” Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm said in a statement.
